Affection | First Steps of Periodontics | Regeneration | after Surgery

In case the periodontium has degenrated due to periodontitis, it may, according to the grade of devastation, be restored. In the best of all cases, the new periodontium matches the previous, natural one in all features, such as shape and functionality.

There are different approaches to regenerative treatments of advanced periodontal defects. Since there is almost no tissue in the human body capable of restoring itself after ruptures of any kind without whosing in scarred texture, we offer regenerative therapy which is based on Enamel-Matrix-Proteins.
These proteins make the body recapitualte the stages the periodontium undergoes during its formation and have them restores in an almost natural way. The reconstruction of the periodontium (root-concrete, fibre bundles, bones) starts right after the treatment with Enamel-Matrix-Proteins and goes on for some time.
The use of these regenerative methods with Enamel-Matrix-Proteins is justified by the avoidance of formation of scarred tissue.
